Intramuros

Intramuros ay [(Latin) intra: within; muros:walls]. The popular name given to the walled city of Spanish Manila. The name “Manila” (it is claimed) derives from nilad, a type of mangrove that bore white waxy flowers (Ixora).

Cookies Time

Here some picture for the cookies.

Weekend Getaway: Tagaytay

Tagaytay it is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations and according to the history Legend has it that the word Tagaytay came from "taga" meaning to cut and "itay" which means father. A father and son were said to be on a wild boar hunt when the animal they were chasing turned and attacked them. As the boar charged towards the old man, the son cried "taga itay!". The boy's repeated shout reverberated in the alleys of the ridge. Heard by the residents, hunters and wood gatherers, the cries became subject of conversation for several days in the countryside. In time, the place where the shouts came from became known as TAGAYTAY.

It was 13th of August, Saturday, I attended my friend pretty Clou’s Birthday Party at the Shangri-La Mall in Mandaluyong. I arrived an hour early. While waiting for the party to start, I recall that every 1st and 2nd Saturday of the month there are holding Exhibits there, so I decided to see it, and golly it was so amazing. I enjoyed what I saw there, and then I realized that party is about to start.

Mobile Suit Gundam Wing

The Cash Flow Game

Every two months, my colleagues and I play the board game called Cashflow 101. This game was created by the famous, successful writer, businessman, and educator Robert Kiyosaki. The man who wrote the bestselling book ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’.

Cashflow 101

Ang board game na ito ay parang millionaires’ game, or monopoly board game, but this time iba yung concept niya. Dito, mas makatotohanan sya, you will learn a lot of things in finances, at isa sa mga itinuturo din dito ay ang iba’t-ibang situation kung paano mo gagamitin ang iyong pera.

My colleagues listening how to play the game
Kasi sa game na to, you need to really focus, kasi di lang basta-basta pera ang hawak mo; even though play money lang yun, makikita mo ang halaga nya since gagamitin mo yun to reach your goal or dreams na ikaw ang pipili sa simula ng game.

Cashflow 101 Board Game
Sa umpisa ng game you need to choose your ‘pamato’ yun ang daga at isang cheese. Maraming goals and dreams na mapagpipilian sa game, gaya ng around trip asian cruise with your family, or having a big charity work.

Discussion on the game

Manny explain what hapen

Anyways, kung di ninyo masyadong magets, I suggest that you read first the book, kasi andoon yung ibang instructions how to play this game, and you’ll get the concept of this board game.
Your main goal is to get your time and money freedom, kung di man yun, at least man lang you get out of the rat race.
Di biro ang larong ‘to kasi inabot kami ng 4 hours to play this game.

The Miscommunication

Habang ako’y busy sa pag-aayos ng aking munting bookshelf  ay may biglang nalaglag mula sa pinakaitaas nito at ng aking tignan ang libro ang nakalagay  “Communication is the most important in all aspect of relationship” at may nakabook sa isang page ito at ng aking basahin ito medyo natawa ko ng kaunti...
I want to share what I read.

Dear Husband,

I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you for good. I’ve been a good woman to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you had quit your job today and that was the last straw. Last week, you came home and didn’t notice that I had gotten my hair and nails done, cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new negligee. You came home and ate in two minutes, and when straight to sleep after watching the game. You don’t tell me you love me anymore, you don’t care about me or anything Either you’re cheating or you don’t love me anymore, whatever the case is,  I am gone.

P.S. If you’re trying to find me, don’t. Your BROTHER and I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

Your EX-Wife

Dear Ex-Wife,

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good woman is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch sports so much to try to drown out your constant nagging. Too bad that doesn’t work. I did notice when you cut off all of your hair last week, the first thing that came to my mind was “You look just like a man!”  MY mother raised me to not say anything if you can’t say anything nice. When you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY BROTHER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago. I went to sleep on you when you had on the new negligee because the price tag was still on it. I prayed that it was a coincidence that my brother had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning and your negligee was $49.99. After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So when I discovered that I had hit the lotto for ten million dollars, I quit my job and bought us to tickets to Jamaica. But when i got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason I guess. I hope you have the filling life you always wanted. My lawyer said with your letter that you wrote, you won’t get a dime from me. So take care.
P.S. I don’t know if I ever told you this but Carl, my brother was born Carla. I hope that’s not a problem.

Signed Rich As Hell and Free.

**************************************************************************

XOXO

Tuloy Lang ang Practice…

May isang kasabihan na, “This life is a test. It I only a test. Had it been an actual life you would have received further instructions on Where to go and What to do.”

Sa madaling sabi, life is, indeed, a test. But the things happening are real.

It is true mga kaibigan. You try to quit on your job, totoong hahapdi ang sikmura mo, try to stop sa pagpractice ng larong basketball, tunay na sa upuan ka na lang i-score.

There a lot of books telling where you go and how to do what you want. You will stop on what you doing, Ofcourse No!
Kaya nga the instruction are available around you. Direction can be seen in front of you. Magbasa ng magbasa, magtanong ng magtanong , magpractice lang ng magpractice para when Reality Bites You, you have the cure to push through.

XOXO
